Furlough and Redundancy

I felt the panic rise up, from my stomach, to my chest, to my throat. I tried in vain to stop the tears from falling down my cheeks. His words sounded far away, as if coming through a PA system. ‘Do you have any questions?’

I had so many questions. ‘Why me?’ ‘Why now?’ ‘What next?’

As We Are Cover

We often can’t see the implications or results of actions for years to come, hindsight is a wonderful thing! We’re no strangers to redundancy and understand how difficult it can be to come to terms with, especially when you might not be so sure of the road ahead.

CAPE is inspired by the spirit we see in people every day, who find the courage and come back stronger, when it feels like it’s all gone wrong. Our biggest strength has simply been to keep talking, and keep connected, and continue to learn and grow together.

Using her background in employee engagement, learning & development, Hannah Anderson set up As We Are on a mission to make the world a better place by increasing diversity in leadership and making happiness at work a reality for everyone.

Louise recently contributed to an article from Hannah at As We Are to share her experience of the process from her side.

We can do it together, just as we are.
